Refund policy

At Linear Furnishings Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations.

1. Your Right to a Refund

You have the legal right to cancel or return your order under the conditions below. Refunds apply to the cost of goods only and do not include delivery charges if the goods have already been dispatched.

2. When Refunds Are Not Possible

  • Bespoke / Made-to-Measure Items: Items that are cut to size, bent, customised, or otherwise made-to-measure cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has commenced.
  • Used, Altered, or Damaged Items: Refunds may be refused or reduced if goods are returned used, damaged, altered, or not in their original condition.
  • Personalised Items: Personalised or made-to-order items are not eligible for return or refund unless faulty.
  • Items Cut or Modified by You: Any items that have been cut, treated, or altered in any way by you are non-refundable.

3. Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting us via phone or email. If no dispatch has occurred, a full refund (including delivery charges) will be issued.

4. Returns for Unwanted Goods

If you change your mind after receiving your order, you may return eligible items as follows:

  • Items must be unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging.
  • Items must not be made-to-measure or personalised.
  • Returns should be sent via a tracked and signed-for courier service for your protection.
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the goods are faulty.
  • Orders over £500 are subject to a 15% restocking fee on returned items.

5. Faulty or Missing Goods

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete:

  • Inspect your parcel for visible damage before signing for it. Ask the courier to note any damage.
  • Report faults or missing items within 3 working days of delivery to shop@linearcurtainpoles.co.uk, including photographs.
  • Faulty items will be replaced or exchanged free of charge once the issue is confirmed.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Once returned goods are received and inspected, you will be notified via email whether your refund is approved (full or partial).
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

7. Time Limits for Returns

Returns of unused and eligible goods must be made within 28 days of receipt. Returns after this period are only accepted for faulty items.

8. Exchanges

  • Faulty goods will be exchanged at no cost to you.
  • For a different size, finish, or style, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order via our website.
