About Us
Linear Furnishings Ltd offers a carefully curated range of curtain poles, tracks and drapery hardware, selected for their style, quality and practicality. Our aim is simple — to supply beautifully made products that work reliably in home and business interiors.
Founded in 2019 by husband and wife team Huw and Ruth Griffiths, Linear brings together a shared background in textile design and a wealth of hands-on experience in interiors, soft furnishings and customer-focused business.

Our Background
Both Ruth and Huw studied Textile Design at Loughborough University, each specialising in different disciplines. After graduating, Ruth began her career working within interior design studios and curtain workrooms, where she gained hands-on experience specifying window treatments, organising installations, and hanging and dressing curtains in clients’ homes.
Ruth grew up on a working farm in Staffordshire, where natural materials like waxed cotton and tweed, leather tack and sheep’s wool were part of everyday life. This gave her an early understanding of how things are used and reused, and sparked a long-standing interest in sustainability, later explored in her university dissertation on the environmental impact on the textile industry.
She went on to establish her first business in 2006 initially focusing on curtains made from wool and natural fabrics. While developing the collection, she began sourcing curtain poles and hardware to complement the designs — and quickly found these products generated the most interest.
This early response highlighted a clear gap in the market: well-made, reliable curtain hardware that was straightforward to understand and buy online. What began as part of a wider interiors offering soon became a specialist focus.
And so, some years later, Linear was created to pick up where Ruth left off prior to having children and has since grown into a business that now includes Huw’s active involvement in its day-to-day running.
British Made Quality
Many of the products we supply are made by Cameron Fuller Ltd, a respected British manufacturer based in Devon who design, manufacture and finish their curtain poles entirely in the UK.
Ruth has worked with Cameron Fuller products for over 15 years, consistently impressed by their craftsmanship, durability and attention to detail. Their ranges combine traditional manufacturing quality with timeless design, making them suitable for both modern and classic interiors.
Where possible, we prioritise British-made products, ensuring excellent quality and reliable supply.
